ShotSelect Studio

About the studio

Good gear advice begins with listening.

ShotSelect Studio began as a shared notebook between working photographers who were tired of buying for imagined assignments. We turned that notebook into short, independent courses grounded in the decisions photographers make before, during, and after a shoot.

Our mission

Make technical judgment feel learnable.

We help photographers connect equipment choices to intent, environment, and working rhythm. We do not rank people by what they own. We teach a process that remains useful when budgets, subjects, and assignments change.
